ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The inaugural European Forum of "Engineers Without Borders" will take place in Brussels from May 17 to 19, 2024. Engineers from across Europe will convene to discuss the vital role of engineering in addressing global challenges, particularly in the Global South. The Forum will start with a conference aiming to promote cooperation between engineers from different backgrounds and regions, emphasizing the importance of sharing insights and experiences. Key topics include securing decent living conditions for all within planetary boundaries, addressing power imbalances in North-South development cooperation, and fostering inclusive and sustainable practices. Additionally, the event will showcase impactful projects supported by European Engineers Without Borders associations, highlighting successful collaborations and tangible results worldwide.
